Comical Crusaders - Cycling for Sasha

This year, under Jackie’s influence, myself, Jackie, Penny and Vikki have been determined to undertake a challenge for charity.

This year over 3 days from 20th to 22nd of May we will be cycling a section of Hadrian’s Wall (around 100 miles), including some pretty big hills!!

None of us are cyclists, we are just a group of friends who have come together for a great cause. Bicycles have been bought, dusted off and training has commenced. Already our backsides are feeling it .

Our chosen cause is one that has touched all our hearts as mums of young adults and is local to us.  We are raising money in aid of SASHA'S PROJECT and every donation will help.

Sasha’s Project is a charity set up in memory of Sasha, a local girl who died by suicide when she was just 20.   Sasha’s struggles were exacerbated by the lack of help available to her when her mental health was poor.  

Sasha’s Project is a safe haven on Friday and Saturday nights when no other support is available, for young people who are struggling, experiencing a mental health crisis or having thoughts of suicide.
