HHI Service Trip to the DR

This January I have the unique opportunity to travel to the Dominican Republic with Health Horizons International.  HHI's partnership with the Quinnipiac PA program allows a few students to travel and work in clinics to provide healthcare to the people of the DR alonside the HHI medical team.  We will be gaining valuable healthcare experience while also providing for an extremely underserved population. Aside from the clinics, the HHI team has worked hard to promote community health and establish relationships with the people of Puerto Plata.  

I'm extremely excited for the opportunity to attend trip with my classmates and the HHI team and the chance to provide medical care for people in need.  However, there is a trip fee to cover lodging, transportation, meals, training and medical supplies for the trip.  While my goal is to raise enough to pay for the trip fee, any extra money that I raise will be donated to HHI to support their mission in the DR.  Thank you very much for your donations!
