Gena has been given a once in a lifetime opportunity to perform with her Wind Ensemble and Jazz Band in the world famous Carnegie Hall in New York City from March 24th to March 29th. Carnegie Hall represents the most prominent stage the Vanden Music Department has ever performed on.
The school helps to augment the cost of the trip through fund raising but they can only help so much.
The rough estimated cost of this trip includes a quad room (4 students per room) at a Manhattan hotel designated by the festival, travel to and around New York, and all of the events.
