Help Us Bring Zhenya Home

Zhenya is 15 years old, he has been in an Ukrainian Orphanage since he was 6 years old. He longs for a family and this is his last chance for he turns 16 this year. Basically in Ukrainian orphanages the kids are put on the streets at 16 and most do not survive. He was brought into our hearts over the summer of 2011 where we were originally going to host him through a hosting program but he was pulled from the program at the last moment. God spoke loudly to us to pursue him for adoption. As we were considering hosting and pouring over the many faces my 13 year old son, Stephen, was led to Zhenya, for it said "Last chance, turns 16 in the summer, he longs for a family." He looked at me and said "Mom, we have to choose him." We have been blessed with getting to know the family who had hosted him over the summer who adore him and through them we feel as if we know him already. We feel we are his family and he just needs to come home. We are hoping to travel to Ukraine in April and praying that we can bring him to his forever home.
