Monica Still Needs Your Support

My names is Bonnie and I am Barry's mother. We are continuing  to try and raise funds for Barry Eure and Monica Lee to help cover gas for therapy and a much needed handicap van. Barry brought and old one after their car accident on 12/20/15 which left Monica in a Wheelchair. That is the only means of transportation for Monica and doing physical therapy twice a week is putting a lot of wear and tear on the van.  They travel back and forth from Greenville, NC to Edenton, NC which is about an hour and a half two to three times a week. When the van breaks down Monica cannot get to therapy. 

Previous fundraisers helped remake the bathroom so it is handicap accessible, put in ramps to the house and modifications in the house, plus cover therapy since it is not covered by insurance any longer. But seems like it is a never ending struggle and I want to help them and take one of the burdens off so Monica can focus on her recovery and not worry about the finances.

Monica wrote: "finally got back to twice a week therapy schedule last week. I did great!! Took lots of steps with the walker w/o anyone helping my legs!! And I stood in the 4'6" part of the pool w/o holding on to anything or anyone!!! My hands are improving too. Gained a lil more strength and am able to open and close them more normally!! Prayer and positivity work people!! Keep it comin!!"

Barry goes with Monica to therapy so some days he cannot work.  Self employed mechanics have a lot of work to do before they can get paid. 

God has been good to them and so have so many of you that we cannot thank you enough. 

So keep the prayers coming and if you can help financially we appreciate that too.
