A Cuddle Cot in Memory of Preston & Connor

Our hearts ache deeply with the recent losses experienced by two of our dear families. In April of last month, Preston Carter was born sleeping just days shy of his due date, and just two short weeks later Connor Michael born sleeping at 33 weeks.  What was suppose to be a joyous celebration of life for both of these families sadly became the hardest time in their lives. The unexpected and sudden loss of both Preston and Connor is wide felt and our hearts are heavy with their loss.

 At the time of delivery, neither hospital where the babies were born had Cuddle Cots available.  A Cuddle Cot is a specifically designed cooling bassinet that allows families to keep their baby with them continually as they prepare to say goodbye.  A Cuddle Cot cools the baby quickly which helps greatly with tissue preservation allowing the baby to stay with their family continuously and for a much greater period of time.  This cot gives families the gift of time and the ability to bond with their baby before having to say goodbye. This gift of time provides precious hours for bonding and pictures before the natural changes become more apparent.  Our desire is to collectively raise the money needed to donate a Cuddle Cot to the hospital where Connor was born as the hospital where Preston was born now has one.  The families of Preston & Connor hope to create a legacy for their sons while giving the gift of time to other families who will unfortunately experience the loss of their child whether through stillbirth, death after delivery, or due to illness.


Our Cuddle Cot will be donated to Good Samaritan Hospital in West Palm Beach in honor and memory of Preston Carter Anderson who was born silent on April 9, 2019 & Connor Michael Richardson who was born silent on April 24, 2019.
