Cucci Care & Well Fund
Spende geschützt
Karen & Jeff Cucci, our brother and sister in the LORD, have run into some difficult challenges as of late. Karen was recently diagnosed with a rare cancer that has resulted in one kidney being removed and the second one badly damaged. Both Karen and Jeff are veterans and have been receiving good care through the VA for "traditional" cancer treatments. Karen has taken excellent care of her body over the years eating organic foods and has used organic medications for minor ailments. She would like to pursue alternative treatments not covered by the VA, yet lack the funds to do so.
Karen has had to leave her job at Jonny Seed company and Jeff has had to scale back his self-employment as a carpenter to help care for her. To make matters even more difficult – the family well has recently run dry, requiring them to rely on bottled water donated by friends and using pond or brook water gathered offsite for laundry, toilets, dishes and bathing. This has brought increased stress and distraction for Jeff as he trys to care for Karen in a clean and sterile enviroment.
Additional financial burdens included funds for transportation, repairs and gas for traveling the 50 to 100 miles to and from the VA hospital.
As with any family – when you lose one income, that is bad – two is worse, and a medical condition like cancer on top is crippling.
We are reaching out to friends, family, brothers and sisters in the LORD to help carry some of the financial burdens for the wonderful family. Thank you in advance for your love and support.
