Crucial Resources for the Southeast States

My name is James. I currently live in Broward County, Florida. As I’m typing this, Hurricane Helene has just devastated our southeastern states and Hurricane Milton has strengthened to a Cat 5, expected to make land fall on the gulf coast of Florida by Wednesday evening. I’ll be honest… after hearing about the lack of FEMA response post Helene and how private companies and volunteers came together to provide a huge majority of the rescue and aid, it really pulled at something in my soul. I’ve started the beginning stages of forming the non-profit, “Southeastern Resource Team.” We’re a team of men and women who want to gather resources in these crucial times of need, hit the road and deliver these necessities as quick as we possibly can. Every single penny goes towards items such as water, food, first aid kits, tools, etc. We all know these situations mean life or death and we’re on a mission to try and preserve life. Anything helps and you will be doing your part when the government resources have been exhausted.
