Crookston Castle Bonfire Night

7 Years ago I invited some of the lads round the castle field to set off some fireworks and have a beer on bonfire night. I sent the text out on the morning of the 5th November.
Nothing major, just a few rockets (and a sparkler for my mate Boab.)
Word got about and within a few hours, we'd managed to get a few van loads of wood and couches to burn too.
Along with that came around 100 or so people from the neighborhood.
It turned out to be a really great night and there was an expectation to do it again the following year. So we did.
More and more people show up every time, it's become a really exciting gathering for everyone in the community with a festival-like feeling and all the kids love it too.
To be fair, we absolutely love putting it all together for everyone and watching you all have a good time, it's our favorite time of year now.
To this end, there's bigger expectation to put on a better show each time in regards to fireworks and some other stuff we have going on each year.
Which is safe to say that it's needing a little more than what a small handful of the lads have been chipping in for each time.
So, with the suggestions that have come from hundreds of you in the community who have asked how you can donate, here is a fast and effective way that you can help us put on an even better bonfire night this year for our community.
Your donations mean a lot to us who work hard to put this night together and it really makes all the difference to everyone who shares the fun community spirits on bonfire night.
