Hi everyone,
My name is Husanpreet kaur.I am an Indian immigrant came here in Canada as a student in September 2019. I had brain stroke on 2nd of august 2022 and had 2 brain surgeries so far. After surgeries my left side of body got paralyzed. I’m hospitalised since last 7 months but got discharged for few days. I created first go fund me in November and got help of 9250$.
My left arm is still paralyzed and I can’t work.I’m not eligible for any government benefits like ODSP because i’m on work permit and I don’t have any other insurance than OHIP. I am seeking financial assisstance to pay off all the expenses. In 7 months my parents sent money for multiple times, i took loan from banks and borrowed money from my friends and so far i’m under debt of almost 45k$ even without hospital’s final bill because i’ll get final discharge on June 1st if MRI and CT will be clear. My mental health also got affected and i had PTSD so i’m seeing psychiatrist bi-weekly, had multiple emergency visits and currently i’m admitted to Humber river Hospital. The surgeries and my mental health have took a toll on me and I need everyone’s support and prayers to get back on track.
