Mission Statement:
Crispus Attucks Community Center strives to improve the quality of life for youth and families in Lancaster by providing services that promote community prosperity, physical and mental health, and by offering programs and cultural events which preserve the African American heritage.
Vision Statement:
Crispus Attucks Community Center will foster a vibrant, diverse and prosperous community, rich with cultural heritage and educational opportunities.
Challenge:
Community cannot for long feed on itself : it can only flourish with the coming of others from beyond, their unknown and undiscovered brother and sister.
Feeding the body:
15,500 lunches served annually.
800 holiday food basket distributed annually.
2,736 families receive food from the food pantry annually.
8,400 community meals are served annually.
We are a small organization, but our commitment to the greater community is far-reaching and based in altruism and compassion.

Free Community Meals for All - Pioneering a Community of Friendship...About Community Meals...
Community Meals (often known as ""C.A Cafe") serves a warm meal Monday through Friday, 11:00am-12:00pm. We aim to become a center of community life where health and education events occur, meals are served,and stories are shared.
Guests do not need to meet any criteria in order to join us- no questions are asked, and all are welcome. Guests sign in upon entry, but this is merely for the sake of keeping a count of number of guests served. Guests are welcome to sign an alias or merely write "guest" in the logbook.
We have an "If we have it, we give it," philosophy. During the course of each meal, we may distribute items ranging from food staples, hygiene supplies, winter gear, farm market surplus, and other goods depending on the generosity of our community.
