Creating A Sustainable Community/Retreat Center

Our society does not live harmoniously with Nature.
We pollute the Earth with chemicals and toxins, and we are destroying the delicate balance and fragile web of life that allows us to live healthily on this planet.
I have devoted my life to learning ways that I can live in harmony with Nature.
This began with a journey of self-discovery, learning to live harmoniously with my Self, my mind, and my body, with the help of ancient wisdom traditions and practices such as Meditation, Yoga, Buddhist Psychology, Shamanism, Taoism & Martial Arts.
I am now learning to live harmoniously on the land as an intern of the Bullock Brothers on their Permaculture Homestead on Orcas Island.
As I continue to grow on this path, and to feel how alive this Earth is, how interconnected we all are, I am motivated even more to help humanity remember our connection to Nature and to offer guidance to those that wish to live more harmonious lives, both within themselves, and within their environment.
My goal is to continue learning of Nature's Way, and to live in balance with Nature, learning the herbs and plants that nourish and heal, learning how to grow food for a community, and how to create sustainable systems that honor life, rather than destroying it.
My vision is to purchase a property where I can create a sustainable community, one that lives on the land, practices healing modalities that free one from societal programming and the emotional traumas that come with it, and awaken to the beauty of Nature, so that we may lead happy and harmonious lives.
I would like to make this community function as a retreat center as well, so that those who are interested in healing and learning how to live balanced lives, can come for short periods of time to participate in retreats, trainings, and community events.
I want to create a space for healing, a space where we can come together to learn how to honor our Earth, to honor each other, and to honor ourselves.
I am devoted to bringing this vision to life, and am working relentlessly to make it a reality. The reason that I have created this GoFundMe campaign, is to share my vision with the world, so that those who resonate with this vision, and would like to help it become a reality, can offer support.
Any amount is helpful, and all the proceeds of this campaign will go exclusively towards this purpose. I do not know the exact cost of creating this center—it depends upon the price of the land, the cost of building the infrastructure, labor, etc. But I would like to do it as affordable as possible. If you are inspired by this vision, and would like to see it become a reality so that you too can participate in this community retreat center, or at least help others to do so, then please consider making a donation.
