Thyroid Removal Surgery

A beloved mom, grandmother, worship leader, vocalist, god mother, friend, supporter, comforter, encourager…there are not enough ways to describe what Vickie Bailey means to her family, friends and community. Although walking through her newly diagnosed thyroid cancer full of faith, there are still a lot of unknowns as she begins this journey.

We are ready to fight along side her hand in hand. There are a lot of risks, especially with her being the incredible vocalist (her profession and livelihood) that she is and the location of the cancer. We are praying and believing that she will come out of this stronger and walk away with a testimony of Gods goodness and His hand on her life.

We are asking for everyone to pray for Vickie, and if you are able to donate to help with medical bills and loss of work, please do so as well. It is greatly appreciated especially with her unable to work during recovery times. Thank you.

My name is Tiffany, and I am fundraising to help Vickie Bailey get the surgery she needs. She recently discovered she has cancer on her thyroid. It is not life-threatening; however, it can cause some damage if it isn't removed. She needs a surgeon who has experience in performing the surgery on vocalists. She is an amazing singer, and it is how she makes her living. She is a really good friend of mine and is really talented. Any money raised would go towards an experienced thyroid surgeon and to help her with financial needs after surgery, considering she will be out of work during the recovery process.   My favorite song that she sings is Melissa Eldridge's song, "I'm the Only One." When she sings this song, she sounds way better than Melissa. She's THAT good!!! She sings a lot of soul and rock. This is one of her singing videos. Vickie's Singing
