Professional dog handler Kari Smith lost her husband yesterday. Please see her post, following:

"Last night alcoholism claimed another good soul. We had 25 wonderful years together and Craig will be remembered as a good man. My family is with me right now and I have a huge support team. We will have a celebration of Craig's life on June 16th, it would have been his 50th birthday. He knew I loved him. RIP Craig Smith."

Craig and Kari did not have insurance to cover this, so she needs us, the dog show community, to step up and give an assist. We all know she would be the first one there to help one of us. Not ony does the cremation need to be covered, but there are several other expenses associated with a funeral that one does not always think of; bringing in family, unexpected bills, lost time at work, etc.

Funds are needed as soon as possible: a memorial for Craig will be held in June.
