So many of you have asked our family about plans to honor Imani's life with a memorial fund or charity.  As we observe year five of her transition, we are honored to announce that we have created The Imani Shelton Green Scholarship Fund at the NC Foundation for Alcohol and Drug Studies (NCFADS). Our daughter, granddaughter, sister, cousin, and friend was deeply involved in her profession as a Substance Abuse Couselor.  She was embedded in research and new modalities in her field.  This annual scholarship will be awarded to an individual in the Counseling field who embodies the spirit and professionalism that Imani invested in her life and work.  This individual will be able to procure professional development and training at the annual Winter School sponsored by (NCFADS).

We invite you to celebrate Imani's passion for service and healing by sending a donation.  Hopefully, in the near future NCFADS will create an on-line donation option. Thank you for your love of our dear Imani Shelton Green. Please pass this on to friends and colleagues of Imani.
