UPDATE 4: Hi everyone!

It's been a while since our last update and we'd like to send another round of thank you's to everyone who's donated since then. We've managed to exceed the £4500 mark, a figure which still doesn't seem real every time we see it. It's been amazing.

Rosie's son Jack has posted a thank you video and a quick update as to what's going on. You can watch it on the gofundme page or on YouTube here:

Next time we put out an update hopefully it will include a grand reopening date! Once again, any further donations are still much appreciated!

UPDATE 3: So far our fundraising has been unbelievable! We've smashed numerous milestones in the last few days and the amount of generosity has been absolutely unbelievable. Not only did we hit our 2nd target of £2,500, we've managed to almost double it!

Through shares on social media we've made ITV Tyne Tees News, The Northern Echo, the Newton News and more. So an extended thank you to both those who have donated and those who helped out with shares on Facebook.

Fundraising will be kept open for a while longer for anyone still wishing to donate, once again to everyone who has been involved, an absolutely massive thank you.

We look forward to seeing you all at Cozy Coffee 2.0 in the near future! We will keep you updated with any future developments both through gofundme and on social media.

UPDATE 2: We did it everyone! We hit our £2500 goal within just 6 hours! That is absolutely unbelievable and the out-pour of support for Rosie through both social media and donations has been absolutely staggering. She's received support from hundreds, our share link has been shared over 650 times as of the writing of this post and we've had hundreds of donors contributing amounts from £5 to £200! Truly staggering.

Rosie would like to say how amazing everyone has been and how touched she and her family have been by everyone's generosity. Thanking everyone for being so kind, thoughtful and caring!

Donations will remain open as we know there are still some people intending to donate, as before any donation of any size is still massively appreciated!

UPDATE: To everyone that has already donated, thank you, in just over 2 hours we reached a goal that we thought we wouldn't be able to get to. We didn't think that this would reach so many people who would give so generously. Because we don't want to close the page when we know there are still people yet to donate, we have moved the target from £1000 to £2500. It's a huge goal but with the response we've received in such a short amount of time, it could be possible! Thank you so much to all of you that have donated and will donate soon! Your support is overwhelming!

Hi everyone. Unfortunately, last night, Cozy Coffee, a small cafe near Brafferton in County Durham was burned to the ground by suspected arsonists. The lovely lady who owns the cafe, Rosie, has put so much hard work into getting the small business off the ground for the last 4 years is obviously beyond devasted about the situation. Her husband who built the cafe from scratch is also blown away by such the tragedy of the incident. A gofundme account has just been set up for donations to help Rosie and her family rebuild the cafe. I'm sure it would mean the world to her to receive any help any of you could give. Also, any shares of the campaign would be hugely appreciated.

This is the facebook page for the cafe so you can see the news yourself:
