Park Hall Area Neighbourhood Watch (PHANW) exists to support, strengthen, and build the community it represents in Walsall and so, in this time of crisis, it has created a Covid-19 Neighbourhood Support Group made up of volunteers from its membership.
They are giving their time and energy to support residents in the PHANW locality who are isolated due to the outbreak because of age or illness. They will help with shopping and delivering medicines and will be there as a friendly and sympathetic neighbour for those that just need to know they are not alone.
We have set up this fund because we have been asked, both by our volunteers and by those who want to support us but simply do not have the time, if we would accept donations of cash which we could use to help those in most need.
Any money donated will be used in our community to ensure the most vulnerable are helped and our volunteers are protected.
We pledge that any funds left after this crisis has passed will be donated to the charity AgeUK.
