Fundraiser for COVID-19 Mutual Aid Effort

Hey everyone,
I've decided to utilize my birthday as a way to fundraise to help people in my community who have lost their jobs and need support amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. Please consider donating to this cause as a gift for my birthday today!
All of the funds will go toward the purchase of groceries, personal protective equipment and other essential needs for the tenants that live in my family's section 8 building.
The majority of the tenants are working class and many have lost their income and cannot afford to pay for rent and other essential needs. Many of tenants are elders who are on disability and are not able to go to the grocery store and need this support.
My community has been grossly neglected by the landlord. Many of the tenants live within deplorable conditions that are now uniquely exacerbated by the COVID-19 crisis. At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the entire building was without heat and hot water for almost 72 hours. See the following article for details.
