COVID-19 Fundraiser for LA Local Nursing/Convalescent Hospital
("Every Little Bit Helps" Project)
This campaign is to help Los Angeles local community front line medical workers and the elderly. Due to COVID-19, hospitals and medical facilities are facing a difficult time and especially the elderly are at higher risk. It is very important for medical workers in senior facilities to be equipped with medical supplies so that senior citizens and medical workers are safe during this difficult time while there is a shortage of medical supplies.
Donations will be delivered to a local nursing home/convalescent hospital to support medical equipment. In order to provide even a little support to the local community, LA Youngnak Church JOY Korean College Ministry students planned for the campaign.

이 캠페인의 목적은 코로나바이러스 (COVID-19) 상황 안에 로스앤젤레스 지역 사회에서 힘 쓰고 계신 의료계 분들과 어려움에 처한 노약자 분들을 돕는 것입니다. 코로나바이러스(COVID-19)은 전세계의 사람들에게 악영향을 끼치고 있습니다. 수 많은 사람들이 목숨을 잃고, 직장을 잃고, 삶의 터전을 잃었습니다. 이렇듯 코로나바이러스(COVID-19)는 많은 사람들에게 피해를 끼치고 있지만 기저질환이 있는 노약자분들에게는 더욱 더 치명적 입니다. 지금도 많은 요양시설에서 거동이 불편한 노약자 분들이 고통과 두려움 속에 하루하루를 보내고 있습니다. 하지만 이 분들이 안심하고 편하게 지내시기에는 의료물품들이 턱없이 부족한 상황입니다. 이 상황속에서 애쓰시고 계시는 분들의 노고를 위로하고자, 그리고 노약자 분들에게 조금이라도 보탬이 되고자 LA 나성영락교회 JOY 한국어 대학부 학생들이 이 캠페인을 기획하였습니다.
