Covid 19 and Rehabilitation
Spende geschützt
Hello, my name is Katelyn Ring and this fundraiser is dedicated to my mother, Sherry Ring.
Beginning of September 2021, Sherry had started experiencing trouble breathing. She was rushed to the hospital after passing out in the kitchen mid day. Once at the hospital she was immediately diagnosed with pneumonia in both lungs as well as Covid 19. For the first week she was given a Bipap mask in hopes that her conditions would improve, her days were spent prone for 12+ hours to help her lungs recover. After 5 days had past with little improvements, it was in the her best interest to be put on a ventilator. During her time on the ventilator visitors were not allowed and she was induced into a mid coma with a paralytic. Our family was told that she had a 50/50 chance of recovering and during this time she was the sickest patient in the hospital. For over 50 days we were not allowed to make contact with our Mom.
October 22, 2021 Sherry was moved to a rehabilitation center. This was the first day the family was allowed visitation.
Sherry is on an uphill battle and is improving little by little every day.
Our Family is now reaching out for help because we are financially struggling during this time. This money would provide stability for Cobra insurance coverage as well as keeping our family out of bankruptcy. I know everyone is struggling at this time but any kind of donation is greatly appreciated. We want more than anything for our Mom to come home.
