兰颖's Orphanage


This fall I will be traveling back to Nanchang China to revist my orphanage, Nanchang Welfare Institute, I was adopted from nearly 19 years ago!

[Some background  information]  I was adopted as 洪兰颖 and was found abandoned on the side of the street in Nanchang County. I arrived Feburary 11th, 1997 and later settled into NWI with no records of my birth parents. During my time, I was placed in two different foster homes; however, I was sent back to the orphanage as a result of poor living conditions. On September 8th, 1998 I was adopted by my two loving parents Lisa and Steve. 

So... in preparation for my visit this coming fall, I discovered that the orphanage offers a "Heritage Tour" which can provide me with original files from the time of my adoption.  Although the living conditions have slightly improved since 1997, I would love to raise money for the remaining orphans. Words cannot describe how blessed I am to have been given a second chance at life. I would like to thank the orphanage by providing a small donation.

I cannot do this alone though... so please, whatever you are willing to donate, help support this amazing and meaningful cause. All the money will go directly to the orphanage.
