Connie Wedmore’s Lost Cancer Battle

Hi my name is Brianna Washington. I write this in hopes to raise money to provide the most loving, caring, and selfless person I know with the funeral she deserves. I have created this Go Fund Me for my grandmother, Connie Wedmore. Connie was first diagnosed with kidney cancer in 2014. Her most recent diagnosis was in 2019, with stage 4 squamous cell cancer. Time and time again, my grandma has showed resilience and strength through all 5 of her cancer diagnoses. However, after fighting this battle for many years and going through every treatment available, my grandmother will lose her battle any day now.

Currently, my grandmother is receiving hospice care at home, which has allowed her to be surrounded by the love of her family. Unfortunately, she does not have any life insurance which has made things more difficult. My mother has been out of work as she wants to ensure my grandma is as comfortable as possible and stand by her in her last days. As you may know, this level of care often places family in a financial burden. However, our priority is keeping her as comfortable as possible as she is in the end stage of life.

My grandmother has been a role model and has always put her children and grandchildren first. Unfortunately, the time has come where she can no longer do so. I am putting my grandmother first and asking that if you are able, please donate so that we can prepare for funeral costs. If you are not able, all I ask is that you pray for us as we go through this time of grief.
