Connect the Commons Prototype Fund

Hello! Thank you for helping Connect the Commons become a reality! We are raising funds with our fiscal sponsor Creative Thought and Action,  in order to launch a prototype of our innovative mutual-aid and resources sharing platform! 

We know that given the climate crisis, the increasing frequency of global pandemics, and economic instability, now more than ever we need to be building strong local communities equipped to share resources and support one another. This is what Connect the Commons aims to do. 

This community supported platform will be accessible to anyone with access to a smart phone or public computer (like at your local library). It combines the best of what existing platforms do, into something even more effective at connecting you with your neighbors and local community in order to share resources and exchange goods and services. These funds will help us to put on a Design, Build, Sprint and get a prototype out into the world ASAP! These funds ensure that we can pay the sprint participants fairly for their time an labor and launch a prototype of this much needed creative solution. So thank you!
