Driving has given me a purpose and the ability to focus on the future and what possibilities this will open up for me. My village is isolated, and although I work in a nearby village public transport links are limited and due to be ended within the very near future.”

Community Driving School CIC changes lives with back to work training and driving courses to make people more employable. 

"Community Driven" is the name of our project that provides CV Writing, Interview Techniques, Confidence Building and other vital training along with complete driving courses to give people in difficulty the skills, experience and a full UK driving licence to get into employment.

The aim of the Community Driving School  (CDS) is to allow those on a low wage, unemployed and students access to jobs previously beyond them and discourage people from driving illegally by helping them access funds to assist pay for lessons and obtain a valid UK Driving Licence.

One Manual Car - £16,000 CDS will negotiate with dealers;
One Automatic Car - £18,000;
Insurance for both cars - £4,000 CDS will negotiate with brokers/agents;
12 months fuel (Estimated) - £6,500 - Both cars;
Vehicle Branding & Stationary - £4,500 Both Cars;
Dual Control Installation - £1,000 - Both cars;
Vehicle Wear & Tear - £3,500 - Includes tyre damage, door mirrors etc…;
Phone, Web Design, Laptop etc… - £5,500 Includes tablet, developer and commercials;
Road Safety Presentation Pack - £2,000 Design and production of safety pack;
Practical Driving Test Fee - £62 This assumes first time pass rate;
Theory Test Fee - £23 This assumes first time pass rate;
