This campaign is to support Anthony Yazzie in getting himself back on his feet and into sound local housing ASAP. He called recently and gave permission for me to share that he has been at in-patient treatment at the Partridge House for the past 2 months. He needs funds to cover his stay, as well as to secure current/future housing, so probation will let him out of in-patient. His previous trailer has been deemed unsafe by probation and he’s stuck in a weird waiting period and looking for some support from friends, family & the greater akwesasne community. Anthony is an ironworker by trade and has done his best to keep current with his union dues and has been established with a local down in the VA/DC area for a number of years. He was most recently working and helping community members with construction tasks, lawn care, and any odd jobs that individuals needed done. AY was also recently employed as a dishwasher with TMG.

If anyone knows Anthony, he is a kind man who has lived through many trials and tribulations and remains humble, kind, teachable, friendly, etc. Let’s support him in finding local housing and funding to pay for his treatment.
