Hi, we are Viewpoint Diving the only UK disabled scuba diving centre offering scuba clubs and water skills classes to children and adults alike. We are an SSI Centre also offering PADI standard & speciality courses.

We participate in dive against debris, teach marine and ecology plus work towards a better and cleaner marine environment.

We would like to expand to offer more community clubs but can't do it without an air compressor to fill our air cylinders which are vital to this work.

(update: we have found a compressor and an interest free loan but need to repay this)

Since ours has broken we have struggled with filling the odd cylinder ready for work and end up doing a 24 mile round trip to get them filled.

Our qualified Pro divers and disabled volunteers are ready to go helping a diverse range of children to adults some with neuro diverse or life limiting illness. Anyone can scuba and we would like to provide the place for them to learn!

We already successfully run a small children's group on a Thursday evening and also a main scuba club at the weekends for qualified youngsters up to the age of 75! But with centres closing there are more than need our help.

Both of these Viewpoint diving clubs are run at cost with volunteers and Pros offering their time and help to run them.

We would like to raise 8k which includes buying a small compressor to cover the few cylinders we need filling for these clubs and also some money towards additional equipment for the clubs like fish id cards, discover Scuba slates, some large and medium bcds, small cylinders, pool fees and money toward concessional memberships for lower income families.

We hope you can help us by donating toward this project which helps us reach out further to people who can't necessarily afford the full fees and or for extra equipment to allow us to extend what we offer.

Our volunteers have set up things like blind diving, cave diving scenarios, reef protection, snorkelling experience sessions, all aimed at giving a child or adult the opportunity to build confidence in our waters and seas with an aim to learning about marine life environments and it's protection.
