Community Room upgrade

We are a group set up to reduce waste going into landfill and make cash for local charities.

We hold regular pre-loved clothing, jigsaw, books and bric-a-brac sales using items donated to us from members of the public.

We have recently acquired the use of a room which will enable us to hold new events and engage more volunteers in the work we do.

Other groups within our building will use the Community Room to hold Gaming events for Teenagers and young adults, yoga classes, Pregnancy Groups, Craft clubs, walking groups and much more.

The community room is in desperate need of a new floor and repaint - the flooring will need to be an all-purpose covering which will suit all the various groups using the space.

Most of the activities in the Community Room will be to help raise money for Charities. Therefore, any help we can receive through financial contributions and local businesses for materials and equipment will be gratefully received and will mean we can donate more cash to the charities we support.

We send cash monthly to Staffordshire Women's Aid, Free IT and Stafford Hearts and Hands to support the excellent work they do in the community. In addition, we support Stafford Babys Bank, House of Bread, Rising Brook Food Bank, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Katherine House Hospice, plus many more.

By providing a Community space for the above activities, it will help bring communities together to tackle loneliness, isolation, anxiety, and depression whilst also improving positive well being
