Community SOS

The SOS Campaign will be an immediate response to those in our community who express to the Broom Tree Foundation that they are struggling financially. Your donation will allow us to provide a hand up when that is exactly what the applicants need to move forward from their current situation.  Every little bit helps. Every donation goes towards a local person in need, allowing us to be the village for those who don’t have one, right here in our own back yard. 

     We have all been in situations that had us needing the support of our community, and right now the climate for community has never been more important.  Covid-19 has shown that we have huge hearts here in Lacombe, and this SOS Campaign will be another simple and direct way for us to all work together and reach people in need.  We will facilitate the distribution of resources as needed. These needs may be grocery cards and financial help with bills or emergency expenses, or we may provide support and information for those seeking help in abusive situations or with mental health issues.  The Broom Tree Foundation would be extremely grateful for all donations received through the SOS Campaign. It is our hope that we will be able to provide support and love to our communities most vulnerable members, and that this will be one of the “good news” stories of our pandemic situation.  Thank you for your gifts of love!
