Community Garden (Woodbridge,Manassas)

I would like to create a community garden for the Woodbridge/Manassas and surrounding areas. I have been in contact with an agent for plots of land for sale. The amount raised will dictate the size of the land or multiple locations. The goal is 1 acre minimum for each location, which could provide up to 60,984 pounds of food. Possible beginning locations include: Manassas, Woodbridge, Nokesville. Funds will also go towards resources, tools and permits required for the garden. Produce grown will be available for neighbors within the community; providing adequate nutrition for families. The community garden can be used as a teaching ground for sustainability and allow community service hours for students. I am hoping the garden will be ready for the 2021 season. Thank you!
