Hi, my name is Emma, and I’m fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Kevin — someone I’ve known since we were 14.

Kevin is one of the kindest, brightest, and most resilient people I know. But over the last few years, life has handed him unimaginable heartbreak:

Earlier this year, it finally felt like things were turning around. Kevin landed a new job that seemed like the fresh start he’d been fighting for — but just a few months in, he was unexpectedly laid off again due to the economy.

Now, Kevin is doing everything he can to stay afloat — covering rent, groceries, utilities, and basic living expenses — while looking for his next opportunity. With just him and his mom left, he’s carrying the full weight of supporting their household.

Kevin has always shown up for others with warmth, humility, and strength. I’m hoping we can now show up for him.
