Dear Sisters and Brothers des Afro Joy Kollektivs,

Wir sind das Afro Joy Kollektiv aus Stuttgart und wir sind aufgeregt, euch von unserem Projekt für das Jahr 2024 zu erzählen: Ein Festival, das von der Community für die Community organisiert wird.

Bei uns steht das Motto "Empowerment" im Mittelpunkt. Wir glauben fest daran, dass Zusammenkommen, Feiern und Lernen ein einzigartigen Sparkel in Stuttgart hinterlässt.

Reminder: Empower 2 Decolonize Festival (*Mundwinkel bewegen sich nach oben*)

Unser Ziel ist es, eine Plattform zu schaffen, auf der Menschen zusammenkommen können, um sich zu vernetzen und ein Wochenende voller Freude und Empowerment zu erleben.

Wir haben hart daran gearbeitet, dieses Festival ehrenamtlich zu planen. Wir haben uns mit unglaublichen Künstler:innen aus unserer Community zusammengetan, um ein vielfältiges und inspirierendes Programm zu gestalten. Von Musik und Tanz bis hin zu Workshops und Diskussionen bieten wir ein breites Spektrum an Aktivitäten, die unsere Besucher:innen bereichern und stärken sollen.

Und bieten unseren Sisters und Brothers, die Bühne gesehen zu werden.

Leider haben wir keine Fördergelder erhalten, um dieses Projekt zu realisieren.

Doch wir lassen uns nicht entmutigen! Wir glauben fest daran, dass mit der Unterstützung unserer Community alles möglich ist.

Das Festivalwochenende steht vor der Tür, und wir möchten sicherstellen, dass der Eintritt für alle zugänglich ist. Deshalb wenden wir uns an euch, unsere Freunde, Familie und Unterstützer:innen, um euch um eure Hilfe zu bitten.

Jede Spende, sei sie groß oder klein, trägt dazu bei, dass dieses Festival ein Erfolg wird und dass alle, unabhängig von finanziellen Möglichkeiten, daran teilnehmen können.

We are the Afro Joy Collective from Stuttgart and we are excited to tell you about our project for the year 2024. A festival organized by the community for the community.

From music and dance to workshops and discussions, we offer a wide range of activities designed to enrich and empower our visitors.

And offer our Sisters and Brothers the stage to be seen.

Unfortunately, we did not receive any funding to realize this project.

But we are not discouraged! We firmly believe that anything is possible with the support of our community.

The festival weekend is just around the corner and we want to make sure that entry is accessible to all. That's why we're reaching out to you, our friends, family and supporters, to ask for your help.

Every donation, large or small, helps to ensure that this festival is a success and that everyone, regardless of financial means, can take part.
