Communities United for Clean Air

The government of BC plans to aerially spray urban areas with a pesticide called Foray 48B throughout Vancouver Island starting in April and extending to the end of June 2023. This is an annual practice that can happen anywhere in BC. There are hospitals, schools, daycares, waterways, and homes in these areas.

Foray 48B contains Btk and undisclosed proprietary ingredients. There are research and reports showing harm to non-target species and humans. It has been banned in countries like Norway.

We are a grassroots community initiative working to stop the spraying. The fundraising is to cover printing costs and expenses involved in raising awareness and appealing the plan.
