Come Together for Marty Brand

In case you never had the pleasure of meeting Marty, he is the kind of person who had a positive impact on nearly everyone he came in contact with. He loves listening to The Beatles, watching White Sox and Bears games, and talking about what he will eat at his next meal. When he isn’t working his dream job at the DMV, you might find him at the bowling alley or on a golf course, depending on the day of the week. Above all, he is a proud husband, father, brother, uncle, and great-uncle to a family that loves him dearly.

Marty was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in August 2020. He had a remarkable response to his first round of chemo treatments and could continue to live his life with nearly zero complications for over a year. At the time, it was easy to forget he was even sick.

This past September, we learned his cancer stopped responding to treatment. Since, Marty has struggled with a variety of health issues. Our goal now is to help Marty live the rest of his life as comfortably as possible. He has remained optimistic throughout this journey, which should not surprise anyone who knows him.

We humbly ask for your financial support to provide Marty with the level of care he deserves and honor his life in the future. Any amount would be greatly appreciated and go a long way in showing Marty how much he is loved by his friends and family.

All funds received would go directly toward the hospice facility and funeral services.
