Coltishall & Horstead Community Support

WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING FURTHER DONATIONS UNTIL IT BECOMES CLEAR WHAT FUNDS ARE NEEDED.  THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO HAS DONATED SO FAR - YOUR DONATIONS WILL BE PUT TO GOOD USE AS AND WHEN THEY ARE NEEDED.
This is an emergency appeal to create a starting fund for community efforts to support people within Coltishall and Horstead who are self-isolating.
In particular it will fund the printing of information leaflets and purchase of supplies for the Coltishall lunch club who are looking at providing and delivering cooked meals several days a week.  It will also enable volunteers to shop for clients who may not have cash or funds readily available to pay.
A group has been established to monitor the operation of the fund and includes Coltishall vicar Chris Engelsen, chair of Coltishall Parish Council James Matthews, Horstead Parish Clerk Suzanne Hall and chair of the Good Neighbours group, Julie Douglas.  I (Steve Haines, Subpostmaster and owner of Mace Coltishall stores) will be acting as treasurer and am organising this appeal.
Any money left over at the end of the crisis will be given to Good Neighbours, the Lunch Club, or other local causes.
