Color A Positive Thought Organization Flourish

Hi, my name is Harry Bell. I hope you watched the video. In this video, I didn't hold back my thoughts or emotions to give you a look inside my life as a child in one of the most challenging communities in the United States to grow up in - Trumbull Gardens in Bridgeport, Connecticut. I encourage you to take 10 minutes to watch the video. It will help you understand the transformation I made in my own life, my son's life and others' life with a coloring book.

The Color A Positive Thought Foundation started from a coloring book I made for my son. Pages and pages of pictures to color about life highlighted with positive thoughts that got me through some rough times as a kid. We will use part of your donation to expand the reach of this coloring book. Many school systems in Connecticut, like Ansonia, ordered some for their students. We want to bring these to as many kids as possible. Part of your donation will go towards production and distribution costs for the coloring book. The 2nd use for your kind donations(s) is to keep the youth programming for The Color A Positive Thought Organization consistent and growing. Part of our programming is in-house at our community center in the middle of the Trumbull Garden housing project, where we set up after-school and weekend activities, meals, art, sports, and music to give kids something to do and keep them off the streets. Activities have included petting zoos, horse rides, rugby, pro wrestling, etc. We wanted to share unique experiences to open our kids to new and diverse opportunities. One of our great success stories was with the Fairfield Rugby Club. In just a few years of teaching our youth, one of our kids received a scholarship from UCONN to play rugby. We also take our kids on trips to NYC, D.C., for learning experiences and fun to show them our great country outside the streets of Bridgeport.

The 3rd use for your kind donations will be to produce more video content to highlight our organization and keep all of you in the loop about our success with the help of your kindness and for us to reach a larger audience.
