I have some INCREDIBLE news to tell you!
As you may know, these past few years of my life have been full of amazing soccer opportunities! I have enjoyed every single one of them. It has been such an incredible experience to walk through all of the doors God has continued to open for me: from winning state with my club team from Mobile (Fall 2015) to traveling throughout the Southeast; playing in the Region Premier League and being selected to travel to Buenos Aires, Argentina to play with the Olympic Development Program Region III team (Spring 2016). One of the coolest things that I experienced with the Argentina trip was how great a family God has blessed me with! No, not just my parents and sister (even though they are pretty awesome); I am talking about all of you who were able to support my trip to Argentina! Many donated, some sent letters of encouragement, while others prayed. No matter what your part was, I AM SO THANKFUL FOR YOU! That trip’s effect on my life cannot be put into words. I still think about how unique of an experience it was for me, and how none of that would’ve been achieved without all of you. So, please accept my heartfelt gratitude for all you did!
I am super excited to let you guys know that God is continuing to open doors for me in my soccer career. We recently received a call from a coach who has invited me to join a select, 16 member team as they travel to the U.K. this July to participate in a youth professional tournament. The team will be comprised of some of the top youth players from the U.S. and Canada! I cannot tell you how humbled I am to have been selected to be a part of this team. In addition to participating in the Foyle Cup Tournament, we will spend time training with both a Scottish Premier League and an English Premier League Academy team. This trip is literally a dream come true!
I hope you know, this is another incredible opportunity for me to reach my goal of using the gifts God has given me to become the best soccer player and man that I can be. Because of many of you, I was able to exceed the required funding I needed for my trip to Argentina. For this trip to the United Kingdom, I am seeking to raise $3200. I will be working hard this summer to earn as much of this amount as I can. With your additional support, I know that this goal can be achieved!
I ask you to give whatever is on your heart. Like I said, the notes and prayers mean just as much to me as any monetary contributions you are able to provide! I will be super thankful for whatever support you can give. I also ask for your prayers as I look to embark on another journey that God has blessed me with.
