Our Story - Our journey to India!
We’re going to India on a Mission Trip for 2 weeks this June! To serve the poor communities there.
I’m Chantal (The Wife) - I went on my first mission trip to Peru back in 2016 - I absolutely loved it - it changed my life & I came alive out there! I have a heart for missions and I want more! I want to share God’s heart of Love & hope for people! I’m so excited & feel very privileged to be a part of the India team.
I’m Colin (The Hubby) - This will be my first mission trip. I don’t have a heart for missions but I want to grow and I want to experience what my wife is so passionate about....This is the biggest thing I've done in my life so far and I've been freaking out about going on this trip every step of the way. But I’m going in faith! I want to be able to say that I went, despite all my fears and shortcomings. The song Thrive by Switchfoot sums up where I’m at pretty well, “I want to thrive, not just survive”.
We’re doing this together with a team of 4 others, 6 of us in total.
What do we need the funds for? To pay for the 2 training weekends, Our flights to India, travel insurance, immunizations and living expenses.
