Colette’s Fight... she WILL WIN this fight!!!

This “Go Fund Me” is being set up for my Mom, Colette Meyer.  She was recently diagnosed with Small Cell Lung Cancer on Oct. 25, 2019. She received her first round of chemo while in the hospital.  She was in the hospital 10 days. My Mom has suffered from Rheumatoid Arthritis for many years and COPD, and has still continued to work through the pain. She is a very hard worker.  She never gives up.  Back in 2013, she had to work even harder to support the family, as her husband Gary was diagnosed with Leukemia. My Mom thought she would be going back to work when she was in the hospital, however her doctor recommended she quit her job.  She does not want to.  But, she can not work right now. She is on short term disability at work, which is not even enough to live on. It is going on 4 months now being out of work and her chemo and immunotherapy treatments are every 3 weeks. It can be stressful to be helpless when we still need to support ourselves & family. So, I am setting this fundraiser up, because the bills don’t stop when we are sick, they pile up. To date, Feb. 14, 2020, she is receiving her 6th round of chemo and immunotherapy next week. She is still not back to work. She is in very high spirits and knows she is going to beat it.
