Code Signing Certificate for LaserParamsConverter

I wrote a software program that will convert parameter libraries for Laser Engraving machines. I wrote the program to convert an entire library for use with a different wattage laser or with a different lens size. I thought the tool would be useful for others, so I decided to offer it as a free program for anyone to use. Because the installer is not signed with a trust certificate, any user that wishes to install the application must click-though some scary warning screens that Microsoft presents before allowing you to install the software. I would like to ease user's minds that the software is not malicious, by acquiring a trust certificate to sign the software with. I have already invested a lot of my time developing this free software, and I need your help to pay for the trust certificate.
