Coco's Fight for Life: Support Her Recovery

Hi, my name is Anna and I just got a new 6-week-old puppy on Saturday. We named her Coco.

On our first night together with Coco, she was so sick, throwing up everything she drank and not eating anything. We took her to the vet the next morning, and he said she had a horrible case of hookworms, which he treated her for, and we took her home.

The next day and night, Coco got worse, and she wouldn’t even drink water anymore. She cried all night and exhausted herself because she didn’t sleep from being in pain. The next morning, I took her to the vet again, and they immediately started her on an IV. When they ran more tests, they found out she was positive for Parvo!

So Coco’s been in ICU for 2 days now and is hanging in there and hopefully will recover. We are asking, if anyone finds it in the goodness of their heart, to help us with the vet bill. We don’t know the final total yet, but estimates say it can run from $3000-$5000. We don’t have that saved, but we have to save Coco.
