Coach Murph is a name we have heard and used many times.  He has been such an important part of many of our childrens lives.  He taught our children more than just the X's and O's on the court, he taught them respect, hard work, honor, and loyalty!!! 
For all that he has done for our families, it is time for us to show that same loyalty to his family!

John Murphy and his wife, Nanette, have been going through an absolute living nightmare since November 2015. 
It began when John thought what was just flu like symptoms turned out to be a total kidney failure that now has him on dialysis three times a week at four hours per treatment.
With Nanette constantly by his side, he was told that he needed a kidney transplant.  When he went in for the angioplasty, it was discovered that Murph had a serious blockage of four arteries. He needed emergency quadruple bypass surgery. 
We all know what a proud man Coach Murph is.  To feel such helplessness is unimaginable.  Yet it was Nanette who never left his side and rose up to the occassion to become his strength.
If you think this is the hardest part of the story, hold on tight!  Last month, Nanette was not feeling well and after finally agreeing to go to the emergency room, they discovered an inoperable gioblastoma brain tumor.  Not much is known about this rare diagnosis.  All they can attempt is chemotherapy and radiation. 
When Murph and Nanette submitted their insurance cards, they were returned inactive.  You can only imagine the panic.
They were fortunate enough to be admitted.  Their only financial income is Social Security.  You can imagine how far that will get them!
So this is where we come in!  Remember back to how much your kids loved going to practice and training with Coach Murph.  You remember the loyalty and commitment he taught them!  You can remember the respect each child had for Coach Murph.
NOW IT IS OUR TIME!!!!  Please don't turn your back on him when he needs us the most. 
Return the respect that he taught our children!
Do what you can to contribute to their enormous and still growing uninsured medical bills. Everything and anything will help!
