Your help is appreciated

This is something that I never in a million years dreamed I’d be doing, but I have faith that something good will come of this.

I'm working hard to recover from a string of awful years...job loss, poor health...more than I ever thought I'd go through. I am finally working again, but have an almost 20 year old car that is on its very last legs. Bald tires that are of a size that is almost impossible to find, high mileage, and a massive oil leak (I'm spending approx. $100 or more per week in oil just to get to work and back)…it's a disaster waiting to happen. And winter is coming all too soon. The work required to fix the blown head gasket exceeds the value of the car. Without transportation I am dead in the water and don't have access to the local public transportation. I am hoping that your generosity will help me acquire a used car that will help me keep working and keep me moving forward toward what I believe will be a very bright future. I'm not asking for my dream car, just for something dependable.
