Cloud Nine Road Improvement

Cloud Nine Users Group exists with the ultimate goal of neighborhood access improvement by paving with concrete the steep hillside just East of the Lago Del Oro Wash. Cloud Nine is a dirt dedicated easement and can provide good timely access to the neighborhood by Emergency Services or Residents when it is maintained. However, because it is not a county maintained road it frequently falls into disrepair.

The result, is excessive wear and tear on vehicles, dust, and excessive Emergency Service response times. Additionally, vehicles routinely become stuck in the wash with or without water present.

Ultimately, it is the goal of this group of concerned neighbors to involve as many residents as possible in a solution for us all. This can be done by paving the steepest hillside with concrete and developing mitigation measures for the challenges presented by the wash. By accomplishing this goal we can improve the safety of our neighbourhood and reduce our individual vehicular maintenance costs.
