Cloth face masks for folks who need them

I am sewing cloth facing coverings for local medical personnel, community members, friends, and family, who are at higher risk for COVID-19, whether that be due to age, underlying health conditions, work environment, or something else.

Any donation to help defray the costs of fabric, interfacing, thread, equipment and supplies, and postage would be very much appreciated and would allow me to continue working on these sorely needed items.

The first batch of coverings are going to the following families:

- Family of five with two asthmatic members and one essential worker (postal worker).
- Family of three with one elderly member, one disabled member, and a child.
- Family of two with one member having a heart condition and one essential worker.
- Family of two with both members in high risk categories, both are essential workers.
- Family of two with one member in high risk categories and one essential worker (teacher).
- Family of three with one member in high risk categories, one essential worker (teacher), and one child.

These face coverings are constructed with a non-woven interfacing liner, so they are better at stopping smaller particles than coverings made from purely woven fabrics. More information is available here:
