Clint Glenn, Center Grove’s Garbage Collector

Hi, my name is Ben Glatzer and I hope to represent Center Grove’s community in thanking our extraordinary garbage collector, Clint Glenn. Since being in Center Grove for the last six years I’ve come to know Clint Glenn as being a positive light to me personally and for our community. I’ve also come to know he is a huge Miami Dolphins fan. On behalf of our Center Grove Community, I would like to start a fundraiser for him. I have personally been impacted by his kindness and going above and beyond his job. There is an article being written about him for our community papers and in conjunction with this article being released, I hope to fundraise to get Clint Glenn a couple of tickets to a Miami Dolphins game. I want to include parking fees and concessions, as a heartfelt thank you for his service. Make it easy for him to enjoy the experience.

I see posts in a Facebook group about Clint Glenn with comments such as:

”He is the BEST! He drove past our house, saw that we didn't pull our bin out, stopped the truck, knocked on our door and waited for us to pull our bin out. And he always stops and honks to say hi to my son. ♥️♥️”

”Echo the comment of always acknowledging my seven and five-year-old daughters as he passes by with a honk, a brilliant smile, and a wave. Plus, Glenn knows more about the Miami Dolphins than The Grove collectively. Big fan. I wouldn’t be opposed to raising money to buy a couple of game day tickets for him.”

”He is a wonderful man. I used to take my grandson out there to watch him and he was always the kindest man.”

”Awe! We met him the other day. He took the time to talk to my son and show him the “robot arm”. My son loves “ camiones de basura””.

“We LOVE Glenn! When we first moved here we were struggling to get our bins. My husband had a chat with Glenn and within hours we had our bins!”

“My 2.5 year old loving calls him Mr. Clint and runs out of the house every time he hears the truck coming. He always stops, gets out, and has great conversations with my son. It is the highlight of our week.”

”He waves the truck arm to my kids whenever he seems them! He’s so kind! ”

”After Irma, pickups were backed up. I remember hearing the truck and running to get my garbage out because we were overflowing and it wasn’t our day. Glenn drove past on the next street and saw me running with the can. He stopped and came back to help me out. He is such a friendly kind soul. We are lucky to have him.”
