XR is a group of your friends and neighbors who are in rebellion against a system that has failed us. Given thirty years' warning, the powers that be have not acted with the urgency that the climate crisis demands.

XR activist Harry Gregory said "Governments are not telling the truth about how dire the climate situation is. The world that we live in cannot exist with the high emissions of carbon that humans are creating. We need to get to zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2025, and we know we will need to disrupt the status quo to get there."
