VOLUNTEERS CLEANING COMMUNITIES

It has always been my retirement plan to start a non-profit volunteer-based "clean the streets and highways" program utilizing teams of citizens (both adults and teens) tp accomplish making our world more beautiful through less trash on the streets.
Why the "gofundme"? This program will be volunteers, but supplemented with a rewards program for efforts with the hopes that this will encourage people to join the effort and support the program. These rewards will be based on points earned for bags/debris picked up/collected. Rewards will include personal selections such as gift cards, excursions, toys, activities, etc. - a variety of choices to encourage more participation.
We are starting with our local community and surroundings, but my hopes is to bring this program to other communities as it develops. We are currently responsible for a 2+ mile part of the 118 Freeway in the Adopt-A-Highway program and the local parks and streets.
None of these funds are for me personally. They will all be used for developing this non-profit program in the community.
