Claremorris Lions: Buy tree for a student to plant

SPONSOR A TREE
Every Year, as part of National Tree week, the Claremorris Lions Club sells Silver Birch tree saplings for two reasons:
1) It helps us raise funds for local needs including The Dance Memory Club, The Red Cross, St.Vincent de Paul and Family Resource Centre.
2) By planting trees in gardens and fields, we contribute towards carbon reduction.
This year, given the pandemic, our normal process is denied us so we have teamed up with students from St. Colman's College and Mount St. Michael's School to plant all the trees that are sponsored around the Athletics Track and McMahon Park.
We intend to plant the trees during the first week of April and would like to sponsor a tree for €5
€5 for help beautify our town and help those whose need is greatest.
