Sian's Miss Universe Canada Dream

Sian was born in Sechelt, British Columbia, before moving to overseas with her parents. She has lived in China, Indonesia, and Malaysia but always found her way home. Her travels made it very hard to amalgamate with fellow classmates and she usually found herself on the outside. This just drove Sian to succeed in her studies and she graduated from Chatelech Secondary School early and with top grades that landed her in the University of Victoria. She studied business for a year before finding herself working for a real estate firm and changing her career choice. Currently she is living in Vancouver, working as a Legal Assistant and continuing her education at Douglas College with the goal of becoming a Para-Legal for a human rights firm.
Pageants have always been a love of Sian’s since she competed in 2013. Since then she has represented her town, province, and country on national and international levels. This will be Sian’s fourth pageant and to it she brings a positive, outgoing attitude along with her culturally diverse self. Winning the title of Miss Universe Canada will allow Sian to pursue many ventures. Among them are helping with human rights initiatives, promoting mental health awareness, and being a role model for her nation.
Being Miss Universe is so much more than a title and a crown to Sian, it’s a chance to inspire a nation and fulfill a dream. This opportunity will only be possible with some help, though. Being one of the most prestigious pageants in Canada, and leading to the ultimate goal of Miss Universe, Sian won't be able to do this without your generosity. The funds Sian is raising will help her with her training costs, entry fee, and flight.
