Brooklyn Boulders Foundation
City Rocks empowers students of low-income communities to develop self-confidence, creativity, and the ability to succeed through the sport of rock climbing and mentoring. Through City Rocks, over 50 mentors have built year-long relationships with their mentees that have positively impacted youth through physical movement and guidance.
In May 2015 we want all mentoring pairs to take their skills to the outdoors and climb The Gunks!
The official dates for the two schools we work with are May 20th and 27th!
WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT TO MAKE THIS TRIP HAPPEN!
A donation of ANY amount will help:
$10 - 1 mentee's day pass at the Gunks
$20 - 1 mentee and mentor day pass at the Gunks
$50 - Transportation and snacks for a mentee and mentor from NYC to the Gunks
$135 - Funds all costs for a mentee and mentor to go to the Gunks (transportation, day passes, snacks, portion of guide fee, taxes and additional costs)
$200 - Cost of 1 guide to lead City Rocks group
